Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Mirdif City Centre now offer free wi-fi service for all visitors.
Guests only need to register once at any of the malls. Passwords will be sent via SMS to any local mobile number and the same details can be used to log in at Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre or Mall of the Emirates.
Majid Al Futtaim Properties is currently working on a system, which will later on enable tourists to receive passwords to their international numbers.
According to the UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), there were 14,949,937 active mobile subscriptions and 1,007,774 internet subscribers in the second quarter of 2013. More info
