The 7th edition of the ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha’ celebrations organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment concluded on Saturday after offering 17 days of entertainment and fun-filled events and activities to residents and visitors.
The ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha’ celebrations, which were held under the theme “United in Celebration”, commenced on September 25 and quickly endeared itself to families in the UAE and around the world with its array of events, activities, promotions, concerts, shows and plenty of rewarding shopping options, which have further enhanced Dubai’s position as a year-round family tourism destination.
A large number of visitors, especially families, arrived in Dubai from around the world to enjoy a wide range of events and activities including spectacular daily fireworks and quality entertainment. The influx of visitors led to high occupancy levels at hotels in Dubai, which enticed guests with special packages, promotions, and their own family-oriented entertainment activities.
Daily fireworks added to the festive decoration that adorned the city and the vibrant ambience was brought to life by multi-coloured lights and structures with beautiful designs installed on prominent streets, roundabouts and bridges. From October 2 to 8, families made a splash at the Beach Fiesta, an outdoor event that was held at THE BEACH opposite JBR and featuring fun-filled activities including entertainment and creative workshops for young beach-goers.
