Qatar Bowling Center (QBC) in Doha is likely to be demolished by 2017 to make way for Doha Metro, it has been reported.
Speaking to local daily Doha News, Marilyn Kapirig told how the future of the center remains uncertain due to ongoing construction projects in the area.
He said: “We’re here until 2017, but after that, we’re not sure. It may even happen before…anything happens anytime here.
“We’re possibly going to be shifted, either to Lusail (City) or to Mesaimeer, but that’s not set in stone either.”
Development work for the upcoming Doha Metro project is expected to have catalysed the bowling centre’s demolition. More info
