A 25-year-old woman from Allahabad allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a Vaishali bound metro train at Yamuna Bank station on Sunday evening.
The woman, identified as Anjali, had been accompanying her family from Allahabad.
They had gone to Mandi House for seeing a “suitable” boy for marriage and were returning back to Ghaziabad when the incident took place at around 6.20 pm, said a senior police officer.
When the family was returning back to Ghaziabad, the girl got down at Yamuna Bank metro station and allegedly jumped in front of the Vaishali bound train entering platform number 3. More info
