Parts of the UAE experienced moderate to heavy rain fall on Wednesday afternoon, according to updates from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
In their latest posts, the NCM said the areas of Al Hayer and the Dubai-Al Ain road experienced rainfall.
Earlier NCM said, the formation of convective clouds could bring about rain in parts of the country, as well as fresh winds and rough seas.
The weather department has predicted a further rise in the temperature today.
The maximum temperature in the country stood at 48°C on Tuesday.
The NCM said hot and hazy weather shall prevail. Some low clouds will appear eastwards and may be convective by afternoon. Moderate to fresh winds will blow in general and cause blowing of dust over some areas. The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf becoming rough by night, and moderate to rough at times in the Oman Sea.
