Source: www.desihits.com Salman Khan invited all his B-town friends to a special screening of his new movie Dabangg at Ketnav theater Monday night and stars like Aamir Khan, Imran and Shilpa Shetty showed up to catch the fun flick.
In Dabangg, Salman plays police officer Chulbul Pandey, who is described as “fearless, corrupt, lovable and a bad-ass Robin Hood.” The action movie is set in Uttar Pradesh and it depicts the flaws of the system in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Aside from Salman, Dabangg stars Arbaaz Khan, newcomer Sonakshi Sinha, Dimple Kapadia, Om Puri and Anupam Kher.
Shooting for the film began in September 2009. Most of the scenes were shot in the town of Wai in Maharashtra, while a song and some important portions were shot in United Arab Emirates. Portions of the film were also shot in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Metro. S. Vijayan, the stunt director of Wanted, choreographed the action sequences of the film. The movie wrapped in early June, 2010. And it wouldn’t be a Bollywood hit without great music! The film features ten songs produced by Sajid-Wajid and written by Jalees Sherwani. The track list includes the songs “Munni Badnaam” and “Tere Mast Do Nain.”
Fans will make the verdict on September 10 when the film is released, but Sallu’s Bollywood buddies already got a glimpse of the flick Monday night and judging by their tweets, they enjoyed the show! “Omg!
