RTA reviews joint plans with partners

DUBAI – To enhance communication and mutual benefits among its strategic partners, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently held an extensive meeting with a number of its partners to discuss core objectives and joint plans aimed at upgrading corporate performance to improve the level of service and achieving excellence.

To this effect, an open house was held by the RTA and chaired by the CEO of Strategy & Corporate Governance Sector Abdul Mohsin Ibrahim in the presence of the CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector Yousef Al Rida, CEO of Licensing Agency Ahmed Bahrozyan and a bunch of strategic partners representing the Ministry of Interior, National Transport Authority, Department of Finance, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Land Department, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Police General HQ.

Abdul Mohsin welcomed the strategic partners who play a crucial role to the joint successes, and added that such open gatherings contributed to the advancement of the joint links between the RTA and external partners and their quest for cementing their partnerships as well as their approach to common and joint issues.

“RTA is always keen on furthering relationships with external bodies and identifying joint projects to improve the services and implementing them through setting up various work teams,” said Abdul Mohsin.

The gathering included a video presentation highlighting RTA’s achievements in public transport and its continuous endeavours to bring about a quality shift not only at the level of Dubai Emirate, but also throughout the UAE. A brief explanation was made about RTA Strategic Plan and its goals of upgrading mass transit network in the Emirate of Dubai.

The representatives of strategic partners taking part in the Open House stressed the importance of these gatherings as they contributed to generating unified administrative concepts in a smooth and positive manner. They also noted that the exchange of knowledge cemented the strategic relationships; which are the main focus of the senior leaderships who always call for effective communication towards improving the services as they play an important role in serving the community and individuals. They called for holding such gatherings in a regular manner in order for all entities to achieve their common objective of excellence.
