Aldar’s flagship retail development, Yas Mall, will open on November 19, the Abu Dhabi-based developer announced on Wednesday.
Doors will open to the public for the first time days ahead of the 2014 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The mall will include the largest Debenhams outside of the UK and Abu Dhabi’s first Hamleys toy store, as well as the first Lego Concept store in the region.
Yas Mall will be one of the largest retail and entertainment venues in the region. It is expected to open with more than 300 stores, growing to over 400 stores, a 20 screen cinema operated by VOX Cinemas, the largest hypermarket in Abu Dhabi which will be operated by Geant and a family entertainment zone.
