The counter launched at Dubai Mall offers a wide range of options to donors and links the donor directly to the automated financial system of the authority.

Automatic donation machines have been launched by the UAE Red Crescent Authority at Dubai Mall as part of its promotion campaign. The launch was attended by officials and representatives of charity and humanitarian associations and organisations in Dubai.

In the first phase, machines will be installed at 30 locations in Abu Dhabi, while the second phase will cover Dubai and the third, the rest of the country.

Dr. Mohammed Attiq Al Falahai, secretary-general of the UAE Red Crescent Authority said the project is carried out in pursuance of the directives of Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s representative in the eastern region, who is also chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Authority.

The policy of the Red Crescent Authority is to make it convenient for donors and to provide them with a wide range of options to contribute at local and international levels, he said.

“The counter launched at Dubai Mall is the first of its kind machine that offers a wide range of options to donors and links the donor directly to the automated financial system of the authority,” he said. More info
