Nakheel announces $80m The Pointe development on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
The Pointe will be constructed at the tip of the Palm’s trunk and will face the Atlantis hotel. It will cover 131,000m2 and include 56,120m2 of high end retail shops, and a combination of informal and formal dining, a 34,130m2 promenade, marina with floating pontoons and computerised water fountain set offshore.
Metro Green Line in Dubai a significant achievement in 2011
The opening on 11-11-2011 of the Dubai Metro’s Green Line signified another big development in the infrastructure of the Emirate. Phil Blizzard rides the train, highlighting the major aspects of the 23km Green Line 18, which intersects with the Red Line at two stations.

Metro Rail System, Abu Dhabi
The metro rail system will run approximately 131km, and will be supported by tram and bus feeder services. Besides serving the projected increase in population of the city and relieving congestion, the metro will connect the mainland with communities such as Saadiyat, Yas Islands and Al Raha Beach.
