The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the closure of all bus stops for air-conditioned buses, until further notice.
It is a precautionary measure to stop the spread of coronavirus and to preserve the health and safety of public.
“For your safety, and in order to complete a series of precautionary measures to protect against the emerging coronavirus, it was decided to close all bus stops for air-conditioned buses,” RTA said in a tweet.
