Costa Coffee has successfully tested its drone delivery service in Dubai.
Following a survey that showed 82 percent of its UAE customers would like to receive drinks or beverages using the technology, the London-based brand undertook a one-day trial of its ‘coffee-copter’ in its Jumeirah Beach Road drive thru store.
Orders were made by phone and delivered to beach-goers with 15 minutes, according to the coffeehouse company.
The refreshments were sent straight to customers using Costa’s specially engineered drone. More info
