Dense fog enveloped Dubai this morning with visibility down to just a few metres.
RTA’s traffic signs flashed with fog alerts, warning drivers to be careful and have their lights on.
Overnight the National Centre for Meterology and Seismology (NCMS), UAE’s weather bureau, reported fog on the Al Maktoum airport, with haze across the Hamra area.
Readers were also reporting heavy fog in Abu Dhabi this morning, suggesting the foggy conditions were in place across the UAE.
Thee NCMS also tweeted that the lowest temperature recorded in the UAE this morning was 8.8 deg C. More info
