Al Seef marine station has been closed for a period of three months.

1Marine traffic has temporarily been relocated to Al Fahidi station, said the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

The marine station is a stop for the Water bus and the Water taxi along their respective Dubai Creek routes.

Passengers can hop on board the Water bus for a short-distance trip connecting three locations along the creek.
One route connects Dubai Old Souk station to Baniyas station, while a second route connected Baniyas station to Al Seef station.

With the diversion the routes will now follow the following pattern: Dubai Old Souk – Baniyas – Al Fahidi.

The time table and frequency of these routes will not be affected, said an RTA official.

The Water taxi has a total of 13 pickup points along the creek. Transport onboard this vessel should be arranged in advance and the pickup point will be schedules according to the passengers’ request.

Passengers wishing to get onboard the taxi from Al Seef will now have to do so at Al Fahidi station.

For the same period of time, a second Water Taxi station will be closed. Jumeirah Beach Park station will be closed for a period of three months, said the RTA. More info
