The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology has issued a fog warning today especially along the coastal areas.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving as the driving visibility becomes extremely limited.

Weekenders that went out of the city last night are also advised of the same caution on their way back to the city.
By midday the fog will give way to partly cloudy weather with fresh winds reported over the sea. Humidity levels will increase during the night.
The seas are particularly rough, especially in the afternoons and evenings along the Arabian Gulf. The Oman Sea on the other hand will be moderate throughout the day.
Temperatures are expected to reach peak highs of 28 degrees with lows around 12. Temperatures will be lower in the desert areas with lows around 7-12 degrees especially in the mountainous parts of the country.
