Interpipe the leading steel pipe and railway wheels producer has supplied pipes for installation of fire fighting system in the Dubai subway.
The pipes for industrial application supplied range 33mm to 168mm. Interpipe products were used for the construction of pipelines to be the part of subway automatic fire fighting system. The volume of pipes supplied amounts to 1000 tonnes.
Mr Vera Smal Head of Tubular Sales division for pipes for industrial application said “There are a lot of projects in the Middle East which for Interpipe can provide its products. A supply for the Dubai metro is not the first Interpipe experience in cooperation with the Middle East construction companies.
In 2009 we supplied pipes for the following projects Al Abdaly in Amman, construction of new terminal in Abu-Dabi airport and new motor-racing circuit Yas Marina Circuit, Marriott hotel in Dubai etc.
