The owner of designer label Louis Vuitton is to help develop a 168,000 square metre luxury shopping mall on Saadiyat Islandlinking Abu Dhabi’s three planned mega museums.
The Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer behind the ambitious Saadiyat Island project which includes the Louvre, Guggenheim and Zayed National Museum, this morning announced it had formed a joint venture with L Real Estate, the real estate arm of Louis Vuitton owner LVMH, to develop what will be one of the largest shopping centres in the emirate.
TDIC said the new “The District” mall would form a triangle between the three museums providing shoppers with spectacular views of the three museums and of the Arabian Gulf. More info
