The Dubai Metro will not be running its Express services on January 1, 2014, the RTA has said.
Regular train services, however, will continue to be operational.

The Express service comprises four trains that ply between Jebel Ali and Rashidiya – two from each station – early in the morning, before regular service begins. These trains stop at fewer stations, reducing journey time. More info
