DUBAI – The Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, Mattar Al Tayer, on Tuesday praised the UAE government for the many accomplishments and successes on the occasion of the country’s 38th National Day.
Coupled with phenomenal growth rates and urbanisation, he said these accomplishments elevated the nation to a prominent global position as a commercial, financial and tourist hub.
“In the field of infrastructure development, September 9 witnessed the first stage of Dubai Metro, and the construction of massive roads, bridges and interchange projects,” said Al Tayer.
