Dubai – Roads & Transport Authority – Nashwan Attaa’ee: The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) reiterated its commitment to move forward in forging partnerships with the public & private sectors in keeping with its strategic goals; which are considered the mains thrust of its business process, and uplift the level of services rendered to various segments of the community to keep pace with the ongoing development drive in all sectors and at all fronts.
Among the effective initiatives rolled out by the RTA to realize this objective is entering in joint agreements with organizations representing a wide spectrum of activities in the business sector.
In this context the Public Transport Agency has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai International Marine Sports Club in the premises of the Agency at Muhaisna providing for boosting RTA’s third strategic goal pertinent to customers centricity through catering to customer needs, and raising their satisfaction with the public transport services in the Emirate. The MoU also seeks to realize RTA’s fourth strategic goal of encouraging the use of public transport means through enticing more commuters to use them, and the sixth strategic goal of attaining the financial sustainability through augmenting revenues.
The MoU was signed for the Public Transport Agency by its Acting CEO Dr. Yousef Al Ali, and for the Dubai International Marine Sports Club by its CEO Ali Juma Ali bin Ghulaita, in the presence of a host of Directors, Managers and officials of both parties.
Al Ali welcome the delegation of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club and considered the signing of this MoU a key step towards forging bilateral relations, enhancing joint cooperation and making serious efforts to measure up to the level of a strategic partnership that plays a vital role in improving the public transport services, particularly the marine transit services.
