The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the 12th Career Show which is kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Center today and rolls on for three days. The event features the participation of about 130 firms and organizations spanning the entire UAE with the aim of offering graduate citizens exposure to the job market, recruiting them and thus accelerating the Emiratization drive.
“Since inception in 2005, the RTA has been keen on taking part in this annual Show; as it is privileged by the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and attended by scores of male & female students graduating from different universities & colleges. The event is considered an ideal platform for offering and negotiating various jobs needed by the market, thus offers students further valuable inputs to consider while thinking in taking a suitable major that matches to the needs of the job market reality,” said Dr. Kawther Kazim, Director of RTA Human Resources & Development.
“We are keen on offering vacancies needed by various RTA agencies & sectors whether in the technical field (engineers & technicians), or specialist fields (IT and accounting). Specialist employees of the Recruitment Section of the HR Dep’t are being deployed in RTA stand to conduct quick provisional interviews & screening of applicants while being at the Stand to identify the most suitable ones.
