Roads and Transport Authority – Nashwan Atta’ee: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) 2013, to be held today on Sunday 15 April and will run through until 17 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This global annual event, which is organized by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, involves the participation of major international companies to showcase the latest water, energy and environment technologies across the world.
The RTA, through its all agencies and sectors, attaches utmost importance to maintaining the environment and the public health in keeping with the achievements of its strategic projects & initiatives launched in support of these projects towards uplifting the level of services rendered to a broad spectrum of community segments and contributing to a green sustainable environment aligned with the government’s plans and at par with the highest international standards.
In a statement to this effect, Engineer Nazim Faisal, Director of Roads & Facilities Maintenance, cum Head of RTA’s Energy Optimization Team said, “The RTA’s participation in this important international event offers an opportunity for showcasing our initiatives and strategic plans to nurture a green and sustainable environment.
