The fare of Ferry Dubai, which accommodates about 100 passengers, includes a snack during a trip promises to be exceptional.
The Water Taxi, which can be charted by an individual, family or a group of 10 friends as maximum, offers competitive rates and premium services, giving value-added fun at the backdrop of a scenic view with glittering lights on Dubai shores. It’s worth mentioning that the number of the Water Taxi stations has now touched 28, starting from Mamzar, passing through the Creek area and running up to Jebel Ali.
The Water Bus starts off from Dubai Marina and Al Seef Station at Al Khor, where passengers can enjoy watching celebrations taking place in the two areas.
Tickets of Ferry Dubai and the Water Taxi are offered through the Customer Service Centre at Ghubaiba Station, Marina Mall, and Abra Station at the Global Village.
Baha Al Qudra, Director of Martine Transport, RTA, said, “The RTA would like to avail this opportunity to share celebrations of community members with the New Year’s day. This is first time ever to see Dubai dressed up in a festive gear far from the traffic congestion and people thronging on the ground, especially at Burj Khalifa, which carved out a niche for itself as the world’s highest residential tower in the world. The move reflects RTA’s distinctive marine services on offer, and the keen attention made to raise the satisfaction of customers and marine transit users.”
“Ferry Dubai, Water Taxi, Water Bus are particularly appealing to Dubai residents, visitors and tourists owing to the beauty and splendour of Dubai coasts, which enjoy a cast of high-end tourist landmarks such as The World, The Palm Islands in addition to other traditional areas and luxury hotels. The launch of this quality service will add a new momentum to marine transit means on this occasion,” he concluded. More info
