RTA participation in this global event aims at acquainting participants with the vital projects undertaken by the RTA in the field of infrastructure required for operating public transport network, and the strategic initiatives of integrated mass transit modes spanning the Dubai Metro, public buses, marine transport and taxis.

The CEO of the DTC Abdul Aziz Malik explained the proposed system saying: “The proposed system aims at achieving a 6% improvement in customer satisfaction and mystery shopper results, a 5% improvement in drivers satisfaction rating, a 2% improvement in the rate of traffic accidents per 100,000 in which DTC drivers are involved, an 11% reduction in traffic offences per 100,000 km, a reduction of complaints rate per 100,000 km, and a 2% increase in the average daily revenue.

RTA Chairman of the Board and Executive Director HE Mattar Al Tayer heads RTA delegation to the conference which includes the CEO of Marine Agency & Chairman of UITP Congress 2011 Hosting Follow up Team Mr Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation and 1st VP of the Team Mr Abdul Aziz Malik and several RTA directors.
