Waterfront restaurants at Dubai Mall are charging up to AED3,000 ($816) per person for bookings on New Year's Eve, it has been revealed.

The Dubai Trolley, a “hop-on hop-off” service, currently covers a distance of one kilometre along Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and moves at a stately 10kph, offering passengers access to Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar, and three downtown hotels.

Dubai Trolley is the new tramway for Downtown Dubai and it is not an extension of The Dubai Tram in Al Sufouh, nor will it look anything like the tram that is to be launched this November.
