More than 66 million passengers have used public buses in the first half of the year, according to the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
RTA and Salik call centres win awards
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Salik call centres have won INSIGHTS Middle East’s award in the category of governmental medium-sized centres. The awards were received by Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Dubai RTA, during a meeting with Dominick Keenaghan, President of INSIGHTS.
RTA launches classic vehicles licensing service
Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the launch of their classic vehicles licencing service today. The RTA announced the eligibility criteria and the pricing for those interested in registering a classic vehicle in Dubai. Any vehicle that is over 30 years old can be registered as a classic provided it meets all the technical requirements.
Vision system helps automate car park management
In 2010, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced a plan to build at least 50 multi-story parking plazas in Dubai to cope with increasing parking problems. Each new parking facility is required to be equipped with CCTV and a centralized and automated payment system.
