RTA announces timing of services during Eid Al-Adha holiday

Most residents want Dubai Metro to run 24|7
Majority of the respondents (71 per cent) who took part in the poll, believe that Dubai never sleeps so why should the Metro stop running even at odd hours. On the other hand, 26 per cent say that there is no pressing need for the Metro to run all the time, whereas a 3 per cent of the participants were not sure about the hours of operation.
A million Metro riders during Eid
Dubai Metro is becoming a favourite commuting option every passing day with more than a million commuters using the service during the Eid holidays. "We are very pleased with the response from the commuters as [the] number of passengers using the Metro has constantly been increasing," said Ramadan Abdullah, Director of Rail Operations at the Rail Agency of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). He said the extended hours also attract more commuters.
266,671 Metro users during Eid
