RTA announces schools winning Traffic Safety Award
Engineer Maitha bin Udai, CEO of RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency, said, “The 2nd edition of the contest evoked huge response from public and private schools in Dubai, especially after the promotional campaign conducted by the Traffic Department when the contest was launched in October last year.”

Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, Acting CEO of DTC said, "This project is part of DTC's plan to avail edge-cutting technologies and smart services to customers. 12,000 cases of lost items in Dubai taxis in 2012
More than 12,000 incidents of lost items were reported by taxi passengers last year. Even though the number was less than half compared to those in 2010, the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has taken an initiative to bring it down even further.
