The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has winded up a vehicular traffic movement plan during Eid al-Fitr holiday to cope with the needs of all community members, provide best-in-class services and enable the public to avail themselves of private/public transit means in a streamlined and hassle-free manner.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently launched, for the second time running, Terhal Integrated Package, and distributed it in several Dubai Metro stations, various business outlets and money exchange shops. The express trains will start operating at 5.30am, 20 minutes earlier than the actual operation time of the metro’s regular service, from Jebel Ali and Al Rashidiya stations. Each train will stop only at 13 main stations in both directions instead of 27, and they are Al Rashidiya, Emirates, Al Rigga, Union, Khalid Bin Al Waleed, Al Karama, Al Jafiliya, Emirates Towers, Noor Islamic Bank, First Gulf Bank, Dubai Internet City, Ibn Battuta and Jebel Ali stations, he added.

From the start of next October, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is poised to reduce the trip time of the Dubai Metro Red Line by offering two services on a trial basis for a period of 5 months in a bid to better serve the interest of the Metro users such that they can arrive at their work places in a speedy and hassle-free way.

Weekend shopping hours have been extended to midnight in many malls including Al Ghurair Centre, Arabian Mall, Deira City Centre, BurJuman Centre, Reef Mall, The Dubai Mall, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Marina Mall, and Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Wafi, Mercato and Lamcy Plaza.
