Phase 2 of Etihad Rail on track
The government has released Dh700 million as an initial allotment to start construction on the second phase of the Etihad Rail project, Minister of Public Works Abdullah Bel Haif Al Nuaimi said.

RTA opens key sectors of Parallel Roads Project
The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) announced the opening of several road & bridges works in JAFZA (South) forming parts of the mega Parallel Roads of Sheikh Zayed Improvement Project. Last May, the RTA opened the service road leading to the Expo Road, and last December it opened the lane linking Al Maktoum Airport with JAFZA South.
Dubai Metro station set to open at Jebel Ali Free Zone
The National has reported that the Dubai Metro’s Jebel Ali Free Zone station is set to open this friday (11 March). Chairman of the Board at RTA stated that the “Jebel Ali station is mainly intended to serve the Jebel Ali area and in particular the Free Zone and the Jebel Ali Port.”
