The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the timings set for different services during the holy month of Ramadan covering customer service centers, public car parks, public buses, Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, marine transit modes, and strategic partners’ centers.

The Public Transport Agency (PTA) of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched a new Dubai Ferry line on Monday to boost marine transport, which is considered an important link in Dubai’s transport system.

The Public Transport Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has beefed up its service offering in a number of stations of Dubai Ferry at the Dubai Marina by setting up Customer Service Kiosks in the marine transit stations of the Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, and the Marine Promenade. The Agency has also revised the operational timing of the Dubai Ferry to match the demand for this service.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to open new marine transport stations in Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina shortly, according to a report in the ‘Al Ittihad’ newspaper.

The walk between Marina Mall and Marina Walk may take between 20-30 minutes, leading pedestrians over a twisting promenade. During the hot summer months the walk can become a trying experience. A new water bus, running every 15 minutes between the two locations has been currently launched with the total travel time clocked 12 minutes and a fare of Dh2 for a single trip.
