Dubai Metro stations to get artistic touch
Work on transforming the stations will begin in the next few weeks, with the museums to be ready within a year to conicide with the launch of Art Dubai 2015. However, the stations will continue to perform their primary role of smooth and safe transport for all.
Mohammad launches bio-diesel RTA bus
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also launched a series of projects, including an extended railway plan until 2030, a car pooling project, a pedestrian bridges project and bicycle racecourse. The Vice-President, on his visit to the headquarters of the Roads and Transport Authority also inaugurated the Middle East and North Africa Transportation Excellence Centre.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday attended the trial run for the Metro green line. Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was also present.
