Dubai Metro opens three more stations in key areas
Since opening in April, popularity of the Metro service has continued to grow. Average daily commuter numbers burst through 100,000 within a week of opening, and the RTA expects that to hit 140,000 very soon.
Seven more stations, 65,000 more passengers
The number of passengers using the Metro is expected to increase by up to 65,000 a day when seven more stations open today, providing residents with important new links throughout the city.
