Public transport rides high at 12%; eyeing 35% in 2020
THE number of public transport users in Dubai has increased by leaps and bounds. Comprising just 6 per cent of the Emirate’s transport users a year ago, they now constitute 12 per cent of its residents using various modes of transport, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) revealed.

Applicants for fare discount must present national ID

Residents of the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) South who had been cut off from their new Dubai Metro station can now access it by bus. Those in Jafza South had been unable to reach the new station, which opened on March 11, due to ongoing construction where the southern side entry and exit pod have yet to be built.

Public Transport Agency launches new feeder bus service at JAFZA
