The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has recently obtained ISO 50001:2011 certification in Energy Management System, thus has become the first Dubai Government entity and the first public transport provider in the MENA region to obtain this certification.

The Asset Department, Corporate Technical Support Services, at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with the Institute of Asset Management – UK, has conducted an Asset Management Test; the first of its kind in the Middle East about innovative & modern asset management techniques built on the highest international standards, where around 10 employees from various RTA’s sectors and agencies concerned with assets were subjected to this test.
