The Dh1.925 billion Al Khail Road Widening and Improvement Project was approved in 2008 to help ease traffic congestion on Dubai's major roads. Dubai Metro was affected by a minor technical glitch yesterday, an RTA official said. The door failed to open for few minutes after a train came to a halt at the DIFC station and this affected the services for a while in the afternoon, the official said, adding that the issue was resolved shortly after.
