New laws to boost Dubai's Smart City project
In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has issued a number of new laws that further enhance the organisational structure and legislative framework for the Dubai Smart City project.
RTA and Salik call centres win awards
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Salik call centres have won INSIGHTS Middle East’s award in the category of governmental medium-sized centres. The awards were received by Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Dubai RTA, during a meeting with Dominick Keenaghan, President of INSIGHTS.
Dubai Metro recognised for outstanding efforts
The Dubai Metro team of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) was honoured yesterday by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in recognition of their outstanding efforts to complete the largest transportation project in the region.
UAE backs global energy vision
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the first Dubai Global Energy Forum 2011, organised by the Dubai Supreme Energy Council under the theme ‘Energy challenges and opportunities for a sustainable future'.
