Shaikh Zayed Road diversion to begin on October 25
Traffic diversions on Shaikh Zayed Road are set to begin on October 25 as work on phase one of the Dubai Canal project gathers pace, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Saturday.

Turkish construction giants Mapa and Gunal Constructions have been awarded the contract to carry out the project, while Halcrow and Parsons have been appointed as consultants by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
