Roads & Transport Authority - Nashwan Atta'ee: The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) bagged the Silver Trophy Award of the Dubai Quality Group , in the Category of Best Practices of Improvement & Innovation Management.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is gearing up for the launch of a premium service marking New Year’s celebrations on Monday December 31, as part of its commitment to share the public’s celebrations of this annual event.

In the context of the Public Transport Day, the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) held a number of events during a site tour made by a mobile stand to key shopping malls in the Emirate with the aim of educating the public on the benefits of using mass transit systems (Dubai Metro, public buses and the Water Bus); which will be offered free of charge for Nol Card holders to mark the Public Transport Day on Nov 1st.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is keen on using cutting-edge technology in controlling & managing the movement of its mass transit systems, including public buses which are plying the roads of the Emirate taking on board massive numbers of public transport commuters in Dubai.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has recently completed a video electronic link between the Call Center (8009090) and the Operations Control Center of Public Transport; where dedicated monitors have been mounted in the Call Center; enabling accurate & direct tracking of bus movement and schedules.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has recently received a delegation from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) with the aim of reviewing RTA’s experiment in managing the corporate performance, and implementing the Online Performance Management System (ADAA) as well as benchmarks adopted in measuring the performance management in the RTA.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the 12th Career Show which is kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Center today and rolls on for three days. Project undertaken by the RTA to offer prompt solutions ensuring smooth traffic flow and avoiding tailbacks. Roads Maintenance Dep't will carry out Al Rebat Street Widening Project by adding one more lane to widen the street to three lanes at Al Garhoud area.

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) called on motorists, particularly those travelling far distances on international highways, to carry out continuous tire inspection of their vehicles’ tires to ensure that they are proper & sound.
