Residents and visitors of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) are likely to see positive changes to the traffic flow in the community, as three entry points into the community will be re-opened soon.
RTA completes 68percent of Trade Center Bridges
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), announced the accomplishment of 68 per cent in the Trade Center Bridges Project at Zaabeel, adding that the project is set for opening by the end of this year. The Project comprises the construction of 22 precast concrete slabs bridges extending 4250 meters with a capacity of two lanes in each direction, in addition to a 120 meter-long concrete bridge added to serve the traffic heading towards Al Maktoum Bridge.
Trade Centre Bridges Project 50 per cent complete-RTA
Almost half of the Trade Centre Bridges Project has been completed and is on track for the November 2013 completion target date, a senior Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) official announced yesterday. The Project comprises the construction of 22 precast concrete bridges, as well as another 120 metre-long concrete bridge added to serve traffic outbound to Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge and parallel roads.
New road eases traffic problems in Dubai
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened the new western parallel road connecting Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) to Al Barsha, Emirates Hills and The Meadows. "Residents, workers and visitors now have a number of transit options available to them, including access points for motorists on the north and south side of the community, as well as two conveniently located Metro stations serving JLT," he added.
