A tender for the manufacturing of rail coaches and control systems for Qatar’s $41bn Greater Doha Metro project is likely to be floated by the second quarter of 2013.
According to The Peninsula, Qatar Rail has issued a statement which says that a workshop is planned for December aimed at informing prospective bidders – both suppliers and contractors – about the tendering process and the safety aspects expected of the control system. More info
