Fog and mist warnings were issued by the weather department on Thursday morning as many parts of UAE saw a thick fog blanket during early hours.
Yesterday, the lowest reported temperature was 13°C and it could further drop as winter descends upon the country.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology reported about mist over Khalifa college in Al Ain, Al Minhad, Ras Al Khaimah and fog over Swiehan, Sharjah.
The NCMS issued a notification about poor visibility of less than 1,000 metres at times due to fog and mist formation.
Today’s weather will be fair in general and partly cloudy over some areas. The relative humidity will increase during the night and early mornings over some coastal and internal areas.
The temperature will remain the same over the weekend with the amount of clouds increasing at times to the west and south. It will be humid during the night and morning with chances of fog/mist formation.
The temperature in the coastal areas will hover between 19 to 26-degree Celsius and between 32 to 37 degrees in the internal areas. More info
