Commuters faced heavy traffic jams across Dubai and Abu Dhabi due to multiple accidents on Sunday.
An accident was reported on E44 Al Khail Road towards Ras Al Khor causing heavy traffic delays, according to Google Maps. Motorists are urged to take alternative routes.
Slow moving traffic also affected drivers on Al Awir road from Al Warqa, the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, and on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Slow moving traffic was also observed on Sheikh Zayed Road’s E11- Al Itihad Road, Airport Road and Al Rebaat Street towards Dubai. Delays were also expected on Al Wahda Street.
Meanwhile in Abu Dhbai, an accident was reported E20-Road near Khalifa City towards the city, causing added congestion to rush-hour traffic in the area.
Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative routes wherever possible. More
