Motorists experienced significant delays reported in parts of Dubai during the rush hour commute on Sunday morning.
The Abu Dhabi traffic’s Twitter handle has reported multiple accidents that caused congestion and tailbacks.
In the capital, a bus car down on the Sheikh Zayed Street on Saada Bridge outbound, Abu Dhabi traffic police tweeted. It was cleared later.
According to Google Maps data, huge tailbacks were observed on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai from Sharjah. No major traffic incidents have been reported in Dubai.

Motorists please take note: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the General HQ of Dubai Police will start implementing the reduction of the speed limit on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and the Emirates Road in Dubai from 120 k/h to 110 k/h starting on Sunday, October 15.
