Fog and mist covered parts of the UAE in the early hours of Saturday, including coastal and western areas of the emirates.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has warned against fog formation that could bring visibility down to less than 1000m at times. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution.
The highest temperature recorded over the country on Friday was 32.7°C in Swiehan at 2:45pm, while the lowest temperature recorded was 12.2°C in Jabel Jais mountain at 3:00am.
In a statement on Monday, NMCS said that the weather today will be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times with a slight cloud formation at times over some areas.
Moderate winds over land will become freshening at times, especially over the Arabian Gulf, and will cause rising dust and poor visibility over exposed areas during daytime.
“The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning, with a probability of fog/mist formation over some internal areas,” the statement added.
