Hot and hazy weather will continue today and throughout the weekend but forecasters are warning residents to approach the beach with caution.
Waters are expected to be rough in both the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman as south-easterly winds of up to 33km per hour whip hot air inland.
Skies will remain partly cloudy with some rainy connective clouds expected to form over the eastern and southern areas of the country towards the afternoon.
On Wednesday rain fell in Khatm Al Shakla, an area in Al Ain which borders Oman.
Temperatures will vary between 29°C and 44°C along the coast and range between 26°C and 48°C inland. More info
