David Cameron is a man under pressure in his home country so would be forgiven for staying away from public transport.
However, the British prime minister happily hopped on Dubai Metro on Monday morning and declared himself a fan of the driverless trains.
The true blue Tory, however, wouldn’t reveal whether he thought it was better than the famous London Underground.
“Well…” said Cameron with a chuckle when put on the spot by 7DAYS.
He did declare his metro ride was “very good”, though, after he had joined the rank and file of Dubai’s workers to travel the four stops from Business Bay to Dubai World Trade Centre.
The PM then took a short walk on a specially laid out red carpet from the station to the cavernous halls of the trade centre, where he lent his support to British building businesses at the Middle East’s largest construction conference, The Big Five. More info
