This is to request the Roads and Transport Authority officials for plying the Metro train, in particular, till late night on a daily basis.
I appreciate the various programmes and promotions the authorities undertake during the Dubai Summer Surprises and Dubai Shopping Festival, and especially the benefit of keeping the malls open past midnight.
One thing the RTA should consider during these festivals is to extend the Metro timings. Not all staff has company transport and they have to wait for a long time after midnight for commuting back home.
By the time you have meals and get to sleep it’s early morning and again time to go for work. The staff at the Mall of Emirates and City Centre is worst affected, as these malls are open well beyond midnight during festival seasons. More info
