Following the recent announcement and success of the opening of A. Lange & Söhne’s first Middle Eastern boutique at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, the internationally acclaimed Saxon watchmaking expert has launched its second stand-alone foray in the UAE.
The boutique is located in the world’s biggest mall, and arguably best shopping destination – The Dubai Mall. It is A. Lange & Söhne’s regional flagship store, as well as the largest in the world; a fitting accolade to match Dubai’s standing as an international retail epicenter.
Close to 2,000 square feet in size, the exclusive space offers visitors fascinating insights into the realm of precision watchmaking by the pioneers of homological excellence. The Dubai Mall boutique is dedicated to the ultimate ingenuity of A. Lange & Söhne and the manufactory’s position at the pinnacle of precision watchmaking. The furnishings and welcoming ambiance reflect inimitable craftsmanship and technological innovations.
“Dubai was a natural location for us to choose when selecting a city for our flagship boutique in the Middle East; it is well-recognized for being a business hub as well as an international leisure, tourism and shopping destination”, said Wilhelm Schmid, CEO of A. Lange & Söhne.
“Expansion in the Middle East is of great importance to us as the region has been developing itself as an increasing market for watch connoisseurs, where technical timepieces are particularly sought after. We are looking forward to continue sharing our constant quest for perfection and level of unmatched craftsmanship not only in our new stores but also with dedicated events for regional watch collectors and international watch enthusiasts.”
On the occasion of the official boutique inauguration on 26th September 2012, A. Lange & Söhne unveiled a special edition of the Lange Zeitwerk, with the designation Handwerkskunst. Limited to only 30 watches, this masterpiece celebrates Saxon artisanship at its finest and is available exclusively at the seven A. Lange & Söhne boutiques across the globe in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Dresden, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong. More info
