FedEx Web Services, operated by FedEx Express, has been officially launched on the website of the Road and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA).
The move further enhances the shipping and tracking experience provided to thousands of RTA’s customers who are processing licensing and registration documents online.
The launch of FedEx Web Services on the RTA site will help ensure even smoother and faster delivery of documents to motorists across the UAE, the firm said in statement. It will provide real-time tracking information to RTA and its customers. Customers will also receive automated email alerts when their packages are dispatched and delivered, providing an end-to-end experience.
“At FedEx, all our innovations are designed keeping the customer in mind. We aim to offer our customers advanced solutions and an outstanding experience”, said David Ross, senior vice president, FedEx Express Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa Operations. “The FedEx Web Services shipping solution has helped many organisations, including the RTA, increase operational efficiency and enhance their client’s convenience. The innovative solution will help RTA streamline their workload and improve business processes with minimal time and investment.”
FedEx has been working closely with the RTA since 2009, for the delivery of all licensing and registration documents purchased online through the authority’s website. More info
